Every business has a beginning. This is mine…
People often see the beautiful gift boxes, ribbons, and thoughtful details that make up Live Love Blume. But behind every gift is a story—one that began long before I ever launched a business.
One of my love languages is acts of service—a trait I developed from watching my mother extend hospitality to others through caring for family, the elderly, and those in need. Following her example, I learned the importance of creating spaces where people feel welcomed and cared for.
Throughout my life, I've used thoughtful gifts to welcome guests, express gratitude, celebrate meaningful moments, or simply say, I'm here with you. Those small acts of care taught me that hospitality isn't about extravagance—it's about making people feel seen, heard, and valued.
Another chapter of my life shaped my business in a different way…
I first met my husband, Alex, in 2013, but we didn't begin dating until 2017 after what felt like a long season of waiting. That season taught me patience, gratitude, and to truly live in the moment rather than rushing toward what was next.
When we married in 2019, I had no idea our love story would one day inspire both the heart behind my business and the meaning of its name.
The idea for Live Love Blume first came to me in 2021, when I established the LLC. At the time, I knew I wanted to create meaningful gifting experiences, but I was still discovering exactly what that would look like.
In June 2023, I soft-launched the business with a focus on wedding gifting. As I continued to grow, I realized my passion wasn't simply creating beautiful gifts—it was helping people express hospitality through thoughtful, intentional experiences.
On April 8, 2024, I retired after 23 years in the United States Air Force. Retirement gave me the opportunity to fully embrace this new chapter and pursue the vision that had been growing in my heart for years.
The final piece came through my faith…
While reading Proverbs 31, I was inspired by the virtuous woman's role as both a businesswoman and a steward of her household. Her example gave me the courage to step out in faith and fully pursue Live Love Blume.
Today, Live Love Blume is more than a business name—it's the philosophy that guides everything I do.
Live - means celebrating the moment.
Love - means expressing care through hospitality.
Blume - means creating space for people and relationships to flourish.
Those three words shape every experience I design.
Whether I'm creating wedding welcome gifts, bridesmaid proposals, client appreciation gifts, or guest hospitality experiences, my goal is always the same: to help couples and client-based businesses express hospitality through elevated gifting that helps their guests and clients feel seen, heard, and valued.
