Inside a Thoughtfully Curated Wedding Welcome Gift
There’s something special about arriving at a wedding and finding a welcome gift waiting just for you. It’s more than a collection of treats and thoughtful little extras. For a recent bridal immersion experience at River House in St. Augustine, I created a wedding welcome gift inspired by a summer along the coast of Italy. The vision was light, joyful, and effortlessly beautiful, with soft blue and yellow tones reminiscent of the Mediterranean.
The Inspiration
The inspiration began with the feeling of a summer escape. Soft blue. Sunny yellow. Refreshing beverages. Sweet treats. A few practical essentials. And thoughtful details that made the entire gift feel cohesive. Rather than simply filling a bag with products, I wanted each element to contribute to the overall guest experience. The result was a welcome gift that felt chic, modern, and inviting—while still being useful for guests.

Designing the Details
One of my favorite parts of gift design is figuring out how all of the little details work together. The color palette set the overall mood, while the product selection added variety and function. The personalized hang tag added an intimate touch, while the finishing details brought everything together visually. This is where I believe thoughtful gifting makes a difference. The gift doesn't have to be extravagant to feel special. It simply needs to feel considered.
